1) Cigarette Resistance for Resilient Filling Materials:

 The char dimensions of each specimen shall be measured to the nearest 0.1 inches.

2) Smoldering Screening Test for Resilient Cellular Materials:

 

TEST THREE SPECIMENS OF EACH FOAM

If all test specimens greater than 80% non-smoldered residue

Foam passes

If two or more test specimens with less than 80% non-smoldered residue

Foam fails

If one test specimen with less than 80% non-smoldered residue

Test three additional test specimens

If one test specimen with less than 80% non-smoldered residue

Foam fails

If all test specimens greater than 80% non-smoldered residue

Foam passes
